Russell Fallstad and Adam DeGraff, good friends for twenty years, trained together at Northwestern University 's music school. After graduation they quickly soared to the highest levels of the classical music world. However, possessed of a long-standing friendly rivalry -- an unending capacity for fun -- Adam and Russell now square off, fiddle to fiddle, improvising with technique from Bach to rock, blues to bluegrass, and old standards to modern pop. Amy grew up idolizing songwriters from the folk tradition. Together they produce a unique blend of passionate‘symphonic folk.’

Tim Mainland and Maggie Jusiel, both classically trained musicians, began experimenting with contemporary electronic sounds, and performing as an acoustic wind and strings duo, in 2002. MAY 9, 2010 -- DUGAN CARTER AND "FULL FLAVOR"

After a decade+ as a “musician’s musician” based in Philadelphia, Charleston-born, Dugan Carter (tenor sax) returned to his home town in 1994 to assemble “FULL FLAVOR,” a classic jazz quartet, with Michael Burks (trumpet), David Loyd (keyboard) and Warren Pope (drums). FULL FLAVOR has performed in leading music venues across the country and abroad.

"THE AHS," the singing/songwriting duo of Amy McIntire and Tony Rogers, made their musical debut at the Keene Music Festival in Keene, NH in August 2005. Tony, trained as a classical cellist, draws from years of mostly German etudes and Bach Suites, but is equally at home with improvisation. Amy grew up listening to and idolizing songwriters from the folk tradition. Tony’s explosive cello lines and Amy’s pared-down, ethereal banjo riffs, sweeten the coarsest lyrics. Together they create a unique blend of ‘symphonic folk’ expressing basic emotions of passion, love, fear, and hope.

After twenty-five years of a capella singing as “Soup Kitchen,” Bill (bass) and Becky (contralto) Kimmons joined percussionist and vocalist Mark Davis (tenor/baritone) in 2007 to form “BARE BONES.” www.BareBonesAre.Us The trio has appeared on NPR’s “Mountain Stage” and virtually every significant musical venue in the state, and has produced CD’s with the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame.
